Capturing Cara Read online

  Trelon pressed a kiss against Cara’s bare shoulder. “There would be no ‘we’. Kelan and I talked at length and decided this was the best way to ensure Trisha’s safety. Another warship or the small ship carrying Trisha has the ability to detect a larger ship as it approaches.” Trelon said trying to ease Cara back onto the covers of the bed in his living quarters on the V’ager.

  “But, what if…” Cara’s words died as Trelon pressed his lips over hers.

  They had been arguing for the past hour over whether they needed to give backup support to Kelan. The information Dantor had given them was supported by internal reports they had retrieved from the warship. Everything Dantor had told them was true. N’tasta’s personal journals had given them more insight as to where some of Raffvin’s hidden bases were. Dulce had taken charge of the warship and along with a hand-selected group of Valdier warriors and the thirty men originally aboard the warship they were going to a mining base where the men’s families were reported to be held.

  Kelan had taken his symbiosis and was tracking Trisha. He would head to the small moon near Quitax. It was a densely wooded moon with a wide variety of creatures. He was more likely to find and retrieve her safely if he traveled alone. According to the records, the small ship that had taken her had only contained five men. Kelan, his dragon, and his symbiosis were more than a match for them, especially considering the hostile terrain they had landed in.

  Right now, Trelon was more worried about his mate. It had taken hours to sort everything out and Cara had been wrapped around him through most of it. He had been terrified when he had first opened the door to the closet knowing how she felt about small, enclosed spaces. Her dragon had expressed in detail the terror Cara had endured during her time inside the mountain. He had been afraid of what he would find when he had discovered she was hiding in a small confined space off of the docking bay.

  Cara moaned as Trelon’s mouth moved down her throat to the mark on her neck. She tilted her head sideways to give him better access. Little goose bumps formed over her skin as she reacted to the touch of his lips against the mark showing she belonged to him. Cara was rocking back and forth against Trelon wanting more when she felt his teeth scrape against her neck once, then twice, before he bit down suddenly breathing dragon fire into her.

  Cara’s cry echo through the room as she arched up under Trelon’s larger form panting as the fire ignited in her blood. Trelon loved the sounds she made when he made love to her. His dragon was humming as he breathed his fire into his mate. Trelon slowly pulled back, licking the spot he had bitten gently. The little gold symbiosis around Cara’s neck moved over to finish healing the spot as soon as Trelon moved his lips further down along Cara’s shoulder.

  “Trelon, you did that on purpose!” Cara panted as the waves of desire created by the dragon’s fire began washing over her. “Pay back is going to be hell!”

  Trelon chuckled as he felt an answering wave flow through his body at the sight of his mate so turned on. “I want you focused on me, not on Kelan, Trisha, or anyone else. Now, love me, suma mi mador.”

  Cara eagerly gave in to the hot waves. Cara gripped Trelon’s head and guided it to her breast and opened her legs to his seeking touch. Running her fingers through his hair as he suckled her, she rocked back and forth as he inserted first one, then two fingers deeply inside her.

  “You are so hot, so wet.” Trelon growled out as he pushed in and out of her pussy. “I want to taste you.”

  “I want that too, but there is something else I have been having fantasies about.” Cara said with a mischievous smile.

  Trelon raised an eyebrow and frown. “What fantasies?” He asked cautiously.

  “Oh, just this.” Cara said before she let out a loud whistle.

  Symba charged into the room heading straight for a startled Trelon. She hit him hard enough to knock him off of Cara and onto his back on the big bed. Before he had a chance to move, Symba had formed long, gold chains around Trelon’s wrists and ankles stretching him out eagle-spread on the bed. Cara giggled at Trelon’s astonished expression. Crawling over him, Cara gave Symba a smile of thanks as the symbiosis moved off the bed and trotted back to the other room leaving just the thin gold chains behind.

  “Now, about that payback.” Cara murmured as she sat on top of Trelon.

  Cara leaned over letting her breasts rub against Trelon’s broad chest as she licked his neck once, then twice before she bit down and breathed her own dragon’s fire into her mate. Trelon roared out as he felt his female’s fire racing through him. He jerked against the golden chains holding him but they refused to let him go.

  “Release me, Cara!” Trelon demanded hoarsely, his voice deep and husky with his and his dragon’s desire.

  “No way.” Cara said softly as she pulled back to look down at Trelon’s beautiful face. “I’ve captured you. You are all mine, suma mi mador. All mine.” She whispered before she proved just how wonderful it was to be held captive.
